The Last Diet You'll Ever Need - Eat Stop Eat
By Julia Denham Platinum Quality Author

Are you frustrated that diets just don't seem to work for you? If you've been on more weight loss programs and you can count, there's a solution. The Eat Stop Eat program may be the last diet you ever need.

Here's what makes the Eat Stop Eat program different: it's not really a diet. It's an intermittent fasting program. You fast on one or two days a week. This means that you will lose weight, because you're consuming fewer calories over a week than you usually do.

Here's how to approach this weight loss method.

1. Prepare Yourself Mentally for Your First Fast Day

Eating is a habit. You get hungry at the time of day you normally eat. Therefore the biggest challenge on the Eat Stop Eat program is your own behavior. You'll need to prepare yourself mentally for your first fast day.

Decide what you'll do at the times you usually eat.

For example it's usually best to choose a work day on which to fast. Therefore plan on what you'll do during your lunch hour. Perhaps you could go shopping, or go for a walk. You can even work through your lunch hour if you wish.

Next, decide what you'll do when the rest of the family is eating dinner. You could go to see a movie, or do something else that's pleasant.

Your first fast day is the hardest, because you're battling your own habits.

2. Take Your Measurements and Weigh Yourself

On this program it's best to weigh yourself just once a week. Therefore weight yourself before your first fast day. It's also a good idea to take your measurements. Measure your hips, waist, and chest. You could also measure your thighs.

3. Keep Track of Your Fast Days: Use a Food Journal

Many studies have shown that people who use a food journal when they're dieting lose more weight, and keep the weight off for longer than the people who don't.

A food journal is especially useful when you're on the intermittent fasting program.

You can keep your food journal on your computer, or keep it in a notebook. If you know that you're a comfort eater, make a note of your emotions as well as what you eat drink. Over a few weeks, you'll learn what triggers you to eat. (Usually people eat when they're under stress.)

Intrigued by the Eat Stop Eat program? Perhaps it's the "diet" you've been waiting for.

Have you discovered the latest dieting sensation? The Eat Stop Eat dieting plan has been helping happy dieters to shed weight quickly and safely. Strictly speaking, Eat Stop Eat is not a diet -- it's a whole new, healthy way of managing weight loss using intermittent fasting. Try it today, and watch those pounds vanish. Eat Stop Eat Book Review - What is it and Does it Really Work?
By Vitaly V

Eat Stop Eat is a revolutionary new weight loss book by nutritionist, Brad Pilon. Brad's program is different in many ways than most typical weight loss programs. Most popular diets and plans today focus on things like calorie shifting, counting every calorie, carb, and speck of fat that you put in your mouth. Many are complicated and difficult to follow or involve eating things you hate, or cooking elaborate meals and eating 5 or 6 times a day. Eat Stop Eat is none of that.
The diet is basically a system of intermittent flexible fasting and strength training. There are no complicated meals or calorie counting, and you can choose your fasting day based on your own schedule.
Most people think that fasting is counter-productive to weight loss because of the detrimental effect on the body's metabolic rate. This is completely true - for long term fasting. Brad's program involves short term fasting (just one day a week) which is actually proven to have a positive effect on weight loss. Short periods of fasting do not trigger the metabolism to slow down at all, and in fact, are very beneficial in fat loss when combined with exercise. During the fasting period you are encouraged to drink lots of water, low calorie drinks and black coffee.
The other important aspect of Eat Stop Eat is the strength training aspect. It is important that you follow the program properly and that includes the exercise portion. Simply fasting once a week without the exercise will not do much for you.
As long as you follow the diet plan properly, which is very simple to do, you WILL lose weight. Brad Pilon has researched this system extensively and has made it very easy to understand and follow.

A Review of the Eat Stop Eat Weight Loss Program
By Leanne Laker

Reducing those extra pounds is no easy task, and when you actually put in a lot of effort towards it with little or not results, it can get really annoying. At times even the most diligent of us would be intimidated by the sheer lack of effectiveness of the different approaches we try.

Well, I'm just speaking from my own experience! Trying to lose some of the weight that slowly crept on through time was a lot harder than I anticipated and believe me, I've tried nearly every diet I could get my hands on! Refusing to give up, I stumbled upon the Eat Stop Eat routine while doing research on this, and I decided to try it.

I found Eat Stop Eat to be quite different in its theory to the others I've tried. Mainstream routines advise followers to either have more frequent, smaller meals or to reduce the quantity of food to a trifle. This one contained a blend of both those theories. While healthy food and exercise are a must, it blends in times when you need to fast.

The diet theory goes back to the basics. I mean, the focus is on the number of calories you have. It moves away from some of the other diet plans that look to the notion of what or when you eat but goes back to the plain and simple calorie deficit theory to achieve your goals. It's considered out of the ordinary since it marries this basic concept with the idea of fasting so as to enlarge the population of fat-burning enzymes.

Well then, what's your part in all this? Leaving aside the liquid diet you need to follow for a couple of days, you can have reasonable amounts of nutritious foods the rest of the week. While you achieve the calorie deficit during your fast, your system can enjoy the much needed nourishment the rest of the time.

If oriented towards quick results, it is important to exercise while not fasting, which means you can expect to lose about two lbs a week. An important bonus is that the weight lost will actually be fat and not muscle which occurs with so many other diets.

I stuck to the plan exactly as it was outlined, which caused me to reduce nine lbs in little over one month and a half, so I am a living proof that it delivers on its promises. You might want to be prepared for the first week when the fasting can be a little challenging, but get through onto the second week and it really does become so much easier. And, when I thought about it further, you may not even have the full 24 hours to fast, you eat dinner the night before and then dinner the next day. It's not that much.

The program is very simple to follow and unlike some other programs, you don't have to be bothered to count calories with each bite you take! Besides, not all of your comfort foods are off limits.

Helping you approach weight loss from a healthier point of view is what I would say this routine really does. With a lifestyle shift of thinking, means that not only will the weight come off, it will stay off. I am convinced, the way you probably are too, that slimming is not the only thing to be concerned about. Keeping it off is just as important. Basically, is there anyone willing to give up their favorite foods for ever? I am convinced that the Eat Stop Eat program has the potential to work for anyone who follows it correctly. In my case, I didn't know until I tried it!

I sincerely hope that you got some benefit out of this article. I do have other great weight loss program reviews that you may be interested in checking out too at: Best Weight Loss Programs reviewed.

'Eat Stop Eat' Diet Plan - Does it Work?
By Ashley Atkinson

What is the Eat Stop Eat diet plan and does it work? Brad Pilon, the author of the ebook and the brains behind the Eat Stop Eat diet plan. He is a nutritionist and a former body builder. The Eat Stop Eat diet plan focuses on flexible periods of intermittent fasting that last one day followed by strength training exercise.

The ebook, along with having the information about the ESE diet and how it works has a bunch of other useful information when it comes to weight loss. As well as scientific research to back up the workings behind the ESE diet. When people thing about fasting they think of unhealthy situations and not eating for days at a time. This is not the case. The small intervals of fasting actually increase the rate at which your fat-burning enzymes work. Coupled with the strength training, this speeds up the rate at which you lose weight.

Although there are tremendous benefits to this diet plan, for some people it may be a struggle. Since the fasting days are flexible you get to choose what day or what two days of the week you get to fast. This may leave some people skimping on the process of the diet and going back to regular eating habits. Also, the user will have to get used to the fasting process.

When it comes to other diets, they force you to cut calories drastically, which can leave you feeling sick and sluggish. It's also impossible to do any sort of exercise because of how few calories you are able consume when you're on these diets. They are often rapid weight loss diets that don't allow for any long-term effects and what's more is that when you get off of them the potential to gain all that weight back is enormous. They just don't work and also, most of the weight you lose is water weight anyways. Eat Stop Eat burns fat off of your body, allows you to exercise during and can be used long-term.

So now to answer your question, does it work? Yes it does. The main disadvantages are the fasting and constant working out.

If you don't like the idea of starving yourself or cant exercise constantly you may want to look into diet that provides for healthy eating not fasting and a plan that is strict enough to allow you to lose weight without having to exercise so vigorously.
