Eat Stop Eat - Flexible Intermittent Fasting Program
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

One of the most interesting weight loss methods I've encountered recently revolves around flexible intermittent fasting. It was created by Brad Pilon. The entire system which Brad, a nutritionist and experienced trainer, has developed is called Eat Stop Eat and the supposition at its foundation is that you can eat relatively freely on most days of the week as long as you fast on one or two of them, and incorporate physical activity, most weight training, in your routine.

After I read the Eat Stop Eat manual (amazing how much information can be entered into something just 78 pages long), I knew that this was a method which was on the border of revolutionary. As someone who deals in diet and fitness issues, and educates people, I teach that fasting is usually bad for you. In fact, it can be beneficial as a cleansing process every few months, but used too often, it can slow your metabolism down.

Here was Brad Pilon, in his Eat Stop Eat book, preaching to fast regularly as a way of life. I actually corresponded with Brad a few times just to make sure I got his system down right.

First of all, you should know that Brad is a respected nutritionist and researcher. His belief in flexible, intermittent, fasting is based on research that he himself conducted, so it's not some unfounded theory.

Second, what Brad discovered was that our metabolism doesn't slow down that much if we limit our fasting period to 24 hours or so. What this fasting does is help our body to cleanse itself, and it creates an immediate calorie deficit (which is necessary for any kind of weight loss). Putting these 2 together helps us lose weight faster and also improves our health.

By combining weight training, we ensure an increased muscle tissue which in turn maintains a high metabolic rate. So, by using flexible intermittent fasting and weight training you can actually get leaner faster than ever before.

Is Eat Stop Eat a Scam?
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

Eat Stop Eat is a weight loss and fitness program created by nutritionist and researcher Brad Pilon. It started out as a pretty obscure plan but soon gained prominence and exposure as more fitness professionals began giving it positive reviews, more customer testimonials came pouring in, and Brad Pilon appeared on TV to answer questions about this program and to clarify what it is.

The sad thing is that with the weight loss industry being what it is, people are still doubtful and wonder whether Eat Stop Eat is a scam.

The truth is simple: Eat Stop Eat isn't a scam. It's a program which was created by a professional and based on years of extensive research and experience. However, that doesn't mean that it's a solution for every single person. Like any other program on the face of the Earth, it will not work for some. However, it does provide results for many men and women. Furthermore, Brad Pilon offers a 60 day guarantee so you can feel secure in using his program knowing that unless you get true results, your money shall be returned to you.

Eat Stop Eat is a bit controversial. The plan requires intermittent fasting. What this means is that you need to go one a liquid fast for one day each week. At first, this isn't such an easy thing, but you will soon get used to it. The fasting has several benefits: it cleanses the body, it helps to give you a slight metabolic boost, and it increases energy levels and clarity.

Other than that, the eating plan is very loose and free. You can basically eat whatever you want on those other days (with moderation, of course).

I believe that Eat Stop Eat is a viable program which can help you to lose weight. I believe that it's worth a try.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots Vs Eat Stop Eat
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

Today I want to discuss 2 very different weight loss plans: Fat Loss 4 Idiots and the Eat Stop Eat Plan. In this way you'll be able to see which one fits your lifestyle better and can help you make a choice over finding your way to lose weight.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is strictly a nutrition based plan. It requires very little exercise: just walking. Eat Stop Eat is based on 2 fundamentals: nutrition and weight training.

Eat Stop Eat involves intermittent fasting. This means that you eat normally on most days but go on a liquid fast once or twice a week. But you choose the day according to what's convenient for you. On Fat Loss 4 Idiots there are no fasting days. You get a menu with 4 meals per day. You simply follow the menu.

Eat Stop Eat doesn't have a set menu. You have more freedom on it. However, some people like the fact that Fat Loss For Idiots simply gives them a menu (which is made up of food items they like). This brings order to the eating plan and makes thinking and planning unnecessary.

Eat Stop Eat is a 78 pages ebook which covers everything this plan has to offer. Fat Loss 4 Idiots has 2 components: a diet handbook which explains the diet and lays the ground rules for it and a menu generating software which allows you to choose your favorite food items from a long list. The menu you get is made up of these foods and you can always create new menus with different food items so it's pretty flexible.

Eat Stop Eat is newer than Fat Loss For Idiots so it's less known. However it's growing in popularity and is showing great promise. Fat Loss For Idiots is already very successful and people report excellent results with it.

Eat Stop Eat Testimonials - What Can You Learn From Them?
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

The Eat Stop Eat program by nutritionist Brad Pilon is a controversial weight loss plan which nonetheless has become very popular. The program prescribes what is called 'flexible fasting' in which you fast 1-2 days every week. This allows you to eat freely during the other days as long as you also engage in intensive strength exercises.

Brad Pilon states that the research he conducted during his long career as a nutritionist has shown that this flexible fasting process helps you to boost your metabolism and burn more fat faster.

Naturally, it isn't so easy to fast and this is something that not all Eat Stop Eat testomonials mention. You may find it a bit challenging to stick to this program at first. For someone who's used to eat every day, it does take some getting used to.

However, other testimonials of Eat Stop Eat, made by experts and past users alike, speak highly of the program and the results you can get with it. People do lose weight with this program. Some people find it to be a solution when many other diets have failed. The program does have merit.

Naturally, it will not work for everyone. No program does. And you have to make sure before you begin that you're up to the challenge of fasting one day each week, that you have the social support for it, and that you have the time and energy and commitment to engage in strength exercises.

This is a point worth emphasizing: usually the fasting aspect of Eat Stop Eat is all that's talked about. However, without strength training it will not work so don't bother unless you're up for it.

Another good thing about this program is that it can help you reduce cravings and control overeating because one of the effects of fasting is a greater control over your entire eating so this is also something you should consider.

Overall, Eat Stop Eat has good reviews and many past happy users, men and women both. You just need to decide whether you believe it's for you.

'Eat Stop Eat' Diet Plan - Does it Work?
By Philip Hixonn Platinum Quality Author

What is the Eat Stop Eat diet plan and does it work? Brad Pilon, the author of the ebook and the brains behind the Eat Stop Eat diet plan. He is a nutritionist and a former body builder. The Eat Stop Eat diet plan focuses on flexible periods of intermittent fasting that last one day followed by strength training exercise.

The ebook, along with having the information about the ESE diet and how it works has a bunch of other useful information when it comes to weight loss. As well as scientific research to back up the workings behind the ESE diet. When people thing about fasting they think of unhealthy situations and not eating for days at a time. This is not the case. The small intervals of fasting actually increase the rate at which your fat-burning enzymes work. Coupled with the strength training, this speeds up the rate at which you lose weight.

Although there are tremendous benefits to this diet plan, for some people it may be a struggle. Since the fasting days are flexible you get to choose what day or what two days of the week you get to fast. This may leave some people skimping on the process of the diet and going back to regular eating habits. Also, the user will have to get used to the fasting process.

When it comes to other diets, they force you to cut calories drastically, which can leave you feeling sick and sluggish. It's also impossible to do any sort of exercise because of how few calories you are able consume when you're on these diets. They are often rapid weight loss diets that don't allow for any long-term effects and what's more is that when you get off of them the potential to gain all that weight back is enormous. They just don't work and also, most of the weight you lose is water weight anyways. Eat Stop Eat burns fat off of your body, allows you to exercise during and can be used long-term.

So now to answer your question, does it work? Yes it does. The main disadvantages are the fasting and constant working out.

If you don't like the idea of starving yourself or cant exercise constantly you may want to look into diet that provides for healthy eating not fasting and a plan that is strict enough to allow you to lose weight without having to exercise so vigorously.

Fast Weight-Loss Product - My Personal Experience Using the Principles Behind "Eat-Stop-Eat"
By Brian Wells

With the myriad of weight loss diets, plans, pills, and products out there it can be hard and frustrating to tell truth from fiction, what works and what doesn't.

The truth is theres only one possible way you can lose weight. The only way is to create a calorie deficit (burn more calories than you take in daily). Anything that does not center around creating that deficit is distracting you and a waste of your time.

My own personal experience has shown me that when I have a weekly calorie deficit, I end up losing weight for that week. And when I did not, I gained weight or at best maintained it.

The defining principles behind a weight loss program called Eat Stop Eat are all centered around creating a calorie deficit.

It's a very simple program (which is crucial for success in the long term). No banned foods or complex caloric cycling, you simply just eat less calories than you burn daily.

To help you create the calorie deficit this program includes dealing with the right type of exercise for weight loss which is strength training (lifting weights) instead of the long held myth that cardiovascular exercise (treadmill, exercise bike, etc...) is the ideal way to go for losing weight.

Strength training burns far more calories than cardiovascular exercise. The science behind exercise shows that cardiovascular exercise actually makes it harder for you to lose weight.

My favorite part of the program is a type of fasting known as intermittent fasting. Basically you fast (you do not eat) for twenty-four hours once or twice a week. This will help you create that big calorie deficit you need to help you lose weight.

If your looking for a fast weight loss product the principles behind Eat Stop Eat will not fail you.

This is a simple and profoundly life changing program. You can find more information here at Fast Ways To Lose Weight.

I have used the principles of this program many times throughout my life, and each time I do, I lose weight. And you can to. Visit http://fastwaystoloseweightonline.com

A Simple Way to Lose Weight? A Review of Brad Pilon's "Eat Stop Eat" Weight Loss Program
By J. Grey

Brad Pilon has many years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He wrote an eBook called Eat Stop Eat. It details a simple to follow plan to lose weight.

Brad's plan is very different from most of the weight loss programs out there. Many of the other plans require special foods or special preparations when preparing the foods. On the contrary, Brad's method is very simple and most anyone can follow it. Brad's plan involves a process called "intermittent fasting." You chose when you want to fast. You are in total control. He also recommends regular exercise as it will help with the weight loss and assist you becoming healthier. Be sure to check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program. Always start at an exercise level you and your doctor feel comfortable with. One nice side benefit we found out is that there is no problem exercising while you are fasting too!

Brad knows what he is talking about. He graduated with an honors degree in Nutrition from a respected university. He then went on to work in the weight loss industry where he learned even more about nutrition and fitness.

My family and I performed our own review of the Eat Stop Eat program. We had tried many different weight loss programs over the years with no lasting results. We felt Brad's program had a great chance of being the last weight loss program we would ever have to start. We have been following Brad's program for almost two months now. We have all lost weight. Personally, the first thing I noticed was that my pants were looser than I remembered. I then found that I had to tighten my belt one notch. Boy was I excited that day. Brad's program is now an integral part of our lives. That is why we believe it is the simplest and best way to lose weight for most people.

The Eat Stop Eat Program - What is Intermittent Fasting and Does it Work?
By David Stroud Platinum Quality Author

Brad Pilon's Eat Stop Eat program promises to help you with your weight-loss by intermittent fasting. But what is intermittent fasting? Is it dangerous or can it actually help you?

Fasting has always been a way to lose weight. Actually if you stop eating for a few days you will lose weight rapidly. The big problem is: The moment you start to eat again, your body will try to get every calorie to make up for the days before and soon you will weight more then ever!

But there is even more. Your body needs nutrients to survive and keep up your metabolism. Fasting keeps those nutrients back from your body and that's obviously dangerous. So, if this is all true, why should intermittent fasting help you? It's because...

Brad Pilon has found out, that short period of fasting can actually help you burning calories without disturbing your metabolism.

We're talking about periods that are only one day long. You can choose when to have your fasting days as long as you have them once or twice per week constantly. There is no longer period that could be harmful to your body.

In a nutshell, this intermittent fasting helps your body burn calories from your fat cells instead of the food you eat. Therefore your calorie balance will be negative and you will start losing weight.

The Eat Stop Eat program also contains short weight-lifting sessions to make sure you keep all your muscle mass. Your muscles help you to burn calories and less muscles would mean less weight-loss.

Whenever you are not fasting you are free to eat whatever you want. Basically you just continue your normal eating behaviour except for the fasting days. There is no strict diet plan, no food you have to eat although you dislike and you don't have to pass on your favorite meal.

In my opinion, Eat Stop Eat is the perfect weight loss program if you want concrete results without spending too much effort. You don't have to eat food you don't like or pass on your favorite meal.

If you are still unsure about Eat Stop Eat and want a more comprehensive review that goes more into detail of how it works, feel free to click here and read my complete review now.

Give Eat Stop Eat a try: I'm sure you will love it and achieve all of your goals. If you don't like it you can stop anytime. But remember: The first step is always the catchiest but losing weight is easy once you have made your decision!

Brad Pilon's Eat Stop Eat Review - Pros and Cons of EatStopEat
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

Eat Stop Eat is an ebook by nutritionist, Brad Pilon, which is becoming increasingly popular as more and more people use it in order to lose weight. But what are the pros and cons of this program? In this review of Eat Stop Eat I'll try to write down a few of these advantages and disadvantages so that you can make an informed decision about this ebook.

So, what is EatStopEat anyhow?

Eat Stop Eat is a weight loss method which is based on intermittent, flexible fasting periods of 1 day along with a routine of strength exercises, be it weight training or body weight workouts. Flexible fasting means that you don't need to follow a strict timetable for when to fast. You just need to do it once or twice a week (twice is for advanced users, really). The fasting helps you cleanse your body and create a calorie deficit.

Here are the pros and cons of the Eat Stop Eat program:

Pros:

1. Easy to use and understand ebook. The entire program isn't long or difficult to read. You can begin applying it almost immediately.

2.The program is very flexible since you can choose your fasting day according to your own schedule. On other days you get to it pretty normally.

3. Brad Pilon provides good customer support. I tested it and sent him a few questions. The email responses were very prompt.

4. The testimonials of Eat Stop Eat are impressive. People succeed in losing weight with this program.

Cons:

1. Requires fasting which may be a bit difficult for some people, though it's something which you can get accustomed to after a while.

2. Requires working out regularly. This isn't exactly a con, more like a best practice, but it's something you need to be aware of. If you dislike exercising (which I recommend), this program isn't for you.

Eat Stop Eat Reviews
By John Davenport Platinum Quality Author

One weight loss program which is getting a lot of media attention is the Eat Stop Eat program by nutritionist and food researcher Brad Pilon. What is this program all about? What is the concept behind it?

Before I get started on the actual concept of Eat Stop Eat let me just say that it is the creation of Brad Pilon, a highly noted researcher in the field of nutrition. He also worked in this field for years. This is just to say that Eat Stop Eat is the result of many years of careful research and scientific discovery.

How does Eat Stop Eat work?

The program is based on intermittent fasting. This may sound scary but in fact is not. Intermittent fasting is something which Brad Pilon researched and discovered that it helps weight loss for many people by improving several aspects.

This is something which may go against the views of other diet creators, but the results speak for themselves. People are losing weight with Eat Stop Eat. Not only that, but they're doing it while gaining muscle mass and increasing energy levels.

Intermittent fasting means fasting for 1 day each week. This may sound harsh, but it is only difficult in the beginning. Later on people state that they actually feel more vibrant on fasting days then they do on eating days.

Intermittent fasting can actually help you detox your body and boost your metabolism, helping you not only to lose weight, but to purify your body and be healthier.

Eat Stop Eat does require exercising to make sure you're increasing muscle mass and losing weight the right way. For many, this program is the first that works for them because it is so unlike most other diets.

Review of Eat Stop Eat
By Harvey Roquemore Platinum Quality Author

Eat Stop Eat is a weight loss program which involves fasting as well as weight training in your diet. The author of this program is Brad Pilon who has been a professional in the nutritional supplement industry over seven years. He also accomplished achieving a honors degree in nutrition and pursued graduate studies in human biology and nutritional science. With that in mind it seems he knows what he is talking about it. A scam you ask? Could be however doesn't seem likely just by going off his background record alone.

Eat Stop Eat involves intermittent fasting and weight training as the primary methods to lose weight effectively, quickly, and easier. This is not a starvation mode type diet either. It focuses on short term fasting to increase the activity of fat burning enzymes thus increasing your metabolism instead of slowing it down. He has made this book full of knowledge from his nutrition experience and scientific research. As with any other weight loss program do not expect to lose weight to your desired weight in a month. It takes time. You must have the will and desire to lose weight and that is with any diet programs out there.

There are a decent number of testimonials shown on his website however it actually looks like a REAL before and after set of pictures for a change. As you will be able to see in the testimonials it did take some time for them to achieve their desired weight. He also has a blog which is updated often and people can come to post comments or ask questions as well as reading information regarding his products and tips.

Eat Stop Eat Weight Loss Program
Losing weight does not have to be a sentence
to slavery in the gym and brutal self-punishment

Eat Stop Eat
By M Braziel Platinum Quality Author

Eat Stop Eat is an intermittent fasting diet. What's intermittent fasting? It's when you eat normal for a period of time and then fast for a period of time.

Eat Stop Eat takes a simple approach to dieting. There is no calorie counting or other gimmick where you have to write down the foods that you eat and when you eat them. This diet plan follows the mentality that the more restrictive the diet, the more likely you are to fail. This is true for a lot of people. Most people just don't have the discipline to write down every single thing that they eat at every exact time.

The basic principle of weight loss, as Eat Stop Eat reiterates, is creating a calorie deficit. It doesn't matter where the calories come from as long as you keep them under the set amount that you need to consume to lose weight. So basically, you can eat whatever you want as long as you stay within a certain limit.

Eat Stop Eat debunks the myth that not eating every few hours will cause you to lose muscle. This should be a given, seeing as how the traditional style of eating was once only three times a day. Though muscle growth is largely dependant on protein, skipping a meal or two won't lead to muscle loss.

Eat Stop Eat has recently become one of the best selling diets on the internet. With such a relaxed approach to dieting, it's no surprise why. They even have separate sections for men and women. Whether you're young or old, this diet plan could be the right diet solution for you.

Weight Loss - Three Tips For Success With With Eat Stop Eat
By Julia Denham Platinum Quality Author

Weight loss is a real challenge for many people. If you find that you're losing weight, and putting it on again quickly, you're a yo-yo dieter, and you could be damaging your metabolism. The intermittent fasting program Eat Step Eat may be able to help.

Let's look at three tips for success with the program.

1. Use a Weight Loss Journal to Track Changes in Your Life

Are you using a weight loss journal? If you're not, start using one today. You can keep your journal in a paper notebook, or on your computer. Track what you eat and drink, and also your moods.

Tracking your moods is essential; it may show that you're a comfort eater. Once you know that you reach for food when you're stressed, you can develop strategies to deal with that.

Your journal is especially helpful with the Eat Stop Eat program. Weigh yourself once a week, and make a note of it in your journal. If you're exercising, you may actually gain a little weight, but don't be concerned: muscle weighs more than fat. When you're tracking your weight, you'll soon see that although you gain a couple of pounds in a week, you'll lose it in a couple of weeks when your metabolism catches up.

2. Drink Green Tea on Your Fasting Days

Green tea is great for your health, and it's a brilliant weight loss helper too, because it helps to suppress your appetite.

Generally, on your fasting days, you'll find that you have few hunger pangs. However, you may feel slightly edgy at your normal meal times, and drinking green tea will help with that.

3. Plan Your Fasting Days: Keep Busy

Here's an excellent strategy for your fasting days: keep busy. Ensure that you fast on a workday, and use the extra boost of energy which fasting gives you to catch up on work.

Yo-yo dieters are finding great success with the Eat Stop Eat program. You may find that it helps you to lose weight too, even if you've tried many diets before.

Have you discovered the latest dieting sensation? The Eat Stop Eat dieting plan has been helping happy dieters to shed weight quickly and safely. Strictly speaking, Eat Stop Eat is not a diet -- it's a whole new, healthy way of managing weight loss using intermittent fasting. Try it today, and watch those pounds vanish.

How Many Calories Should you Eat per Day to Lose Weight
By
John Barban Platinum Quality Author

How much weight you can lose is dependant on your ability to reduce the amount of calories you eat over a long period of time. It doesn’t matter if you eat a little more today and a little less tomorrow. For weight loss, you need to think in terms of weeks and months rather than hours and days.

The only thing that matters is how many days you can eat less calories than you need to maintain your current weight vs how many days that you eat enough or more calories than you need to maintain your current weight.

This is how to picture eating for weight loss over a week;

Lets say you need to eat 2000 calories per day to maintain your current weight. (and lets also assume you want to be lighter than this weight)

Lets also assume you want to lose half a pound of fat this week. A half pound of fat contains about 1750 calories.

By the end of this week you would need to have eaten 1750 calories less than the amount of calories that keep you at your current bodyweight.

It doesn’t matter at all how you get to this deficit. It just matters that by the end of the week you have eaten less food than you needed to stay the same weight. That’s it.

The real trick is finding a way to do this consistently. Most popular diets give you a set of rules to follow every day, every time you eat, taking all the fun and spontaneity out of eating. These diets are doomed to fail because they are too restrictive. Food is fun, and social, and nobody wants to be told they can’t eat their favorite foods or that they can’t go out and eat when everyone else is and enjoy the same foods and not feel guilty about it.

So back to the original question: how many calories should you eat per day to lose weight?

Answer: It doesn’t matter, and it is too difficult to monitor how much food you eat on daily basis. Instead set your goal to be less food over a week, not a day. This will take the guilt away on days when you go out and eat socially, or just want to have some ice cream and burgers. So the new question is this; How do you do this? And I think I have the answer.

I have recently been exposed to a new style of nutrition that is the easiest way to achieve a weekly caloric deficit that produces lasting weight loss and does not restrict any of the foods I like to eat or when I can eat them! This new program is called Eat Stop Eat, and frankly it’s so obvious it was almost embarrassing that I never managed to think of this on my own years ago. The basic concept is short term intermittent Fasting!

Yes that’s right Fasting! The concept blew me away when I first heard it. And then it started to make so much more sense as I read into the research with the help of the author of the book Brad Pilon. And the big difference with this style of nutrition is that it is flexible, sustainable AND effective.

Short term fasting is a scientifically sound and effective approach to weight loss. I have researched and tried every other popular diet and come to the conclusion that they are all flawed because they are too restrictive. Intermittent fasting allows you to eat whatever you like on your “eating” days, and it also allows you to choose when your ‘eating days’ are. Mix in a few ‘fasting’ days and you end up eating what you like, when you like, as well as losing weight. This could be the new diet revolution that actually works!

How to Make Your Body the Most Attractive to Women
By John Barban Platinum Quality Author

You are I are both social beings. All people are. It's in our nature. How boring would life be if you were the only person on the planet. It would suck.

Social interaction can also just be called attention...the attention we get from other people and the attention we give other people.

So in reality we're just seeking more attention from other people. And the type of person we can get attention from greatly changes the quality and intensity of that attention. And I'm assuming you want attention from beautiful women, because really what guy doesn't?

For example, imagine what it would feel like being the center of attention in a room full of swimsuit models who were hanging on every word you say,

Now sub out the swimsuit models and sub in a bunch of bratty kids you were asked to baby sit for an hour.

In both cases you are just in a room of people interacting, but in one case the quality of the attention is much more interesting to you, namely the swimsuit models.

So how do you go about getting into the room of swimsuit models instead of being the chump who is taking care of his buddy's kids?

You have to offer them a kind of attention they want just as much as you want their attention. In other words you better be a swimsuit caliber model right back to them.

That means getting in shape, and getting in the right kind of shape.

You don't need to be some over bloated bodybuilder or take drugs, or live your life in a gym. You just need a sensible workout program that gets you targeted results for a body that gets you the attention you want.

Believe it or not this stuff has been researched and proven to work. There is a perfect shape you should be striving for with your body and the closer you get to it the more attention you can get from the kinds of women you want.

If your interested at all in improving the look of your body (and you should be) and your ability to attract better attention (and better women) then your workout goal should be to improve your adonis index ratio. <-- What is this?

Your Adonis Index ratio is the the ratio of your waist to your shoulders, and you have a specific sweet spot that will make your body looks it's best. Something like Brad Pitt in fight club, or Daniel Craig as James Bond are good examples of men with a good adonis index ratio.

These are the types of proportions that women resonate with and that you should be striving for at the gym.

Go to the gym with a purpose, get in and out quickly and get on with the rest of your life. Improving your Adonis Index Ratio should always be your goal.

John Barban is the Author of The Adonis Effect, a trademarked workout for building the best proportioned body for men.

He is also the editor of the trademarked book on fasting for weight loss called Eat Stop Eat, learn more at http://www.eatstopeat.com
